Hello Students!
I am Mrs. Fletcher, your ELA teacher. I love reading all sorts of literature and writing all sorts of things, including poetry. It is my deepest desire to share a piece of my love for these things with you. I also hope to introduce you to 7th grade English Language Arts curriculum with the hopes that your interest will be sparked and your future may be bright. As you may have noticed from the picture above, I have a family! My husband grew up in Somerset, MA and I grew up in a very similar type of town in Johnstown, Ohio. We met in college, married and settled in MA to raise our family. Our oldest daughter Jacqlyn recently graduated from Somerset-Berkeley Regional High School and now attends a local college. Our son Maxwell (we call him Max) is a Freshman in the district, and is looking forward to the beautiful new school building being completed (the one that hopefully you will walk the halls of one day too!). Our wonderful surprise blessing- Mikelyn is in the 1st grade, she loves her older siblings and thinks she's a teenager too! I would be remiss if I left out our beautiful beagles, Shakespeare and Lady MacBeth (You guessed it - I got to pick their names)! My family is very important to me and so is teaching. I look forward to our journey together through your 7th grade year!
